Today I released a new kit at DSD called Spooky Little Girl. I don't have any layouts for it yet because I haven't had Halloween yet- hummmm anyway I have scrapped some of my sweeties- Richu and Bunbun and my husband :)
Here is my kit preview I am sooooooooooooo ready for Halloween already!
and my layouts- kit to be released soon 'Fall Softly'
G' afternoon. I am adding a free flower template today. I call her Molly she is a very tiny beautiful crocheted flower with a metal eyelet center. I hope you enjoy her as much as I do. Happy Scrappin'!
...............30 really? This was the first thing to do in The Drawing Lab book I got for my sweet Berry....so why not- ok so I did my thirty and here is proof of just a few....hee- hee- you don't want to see how awful my cats were looking by the time I did all 30. So here is a page from my journal and..................a coloring page for you to snag!
I found an old scrapbook album in my crafty stash a few months ago- its so soft an velvety! So I thought why not fill it full of something that makes me feel good- I started doodling on the pages keeping in mind of course the pretty cover- florals. well, looking at it today I thought I would scan some and color them or at least shade them in- but I decided to leave the originals alone . I thought it went well with the cover here is what I mean...
Isn't it pretty? and soooo velvety I wish all of you could cyber - touch anyway I am sharing my pages for anyone who likes to color-meditate. You can snag them one by one - but blogger tends to size stuff down I think so I have included a download link at the bottom for all the pages- I hope you have fun!
OK- you can quit giggling now.... I did though; found a few sweet quick pages on my hard drive. Thought I'd share one or two. Here is one from a few years ago using a kit I gave away for some charity thing-or a gift for some......one.......man I'm getting old. Can't remember!
Download your Free Quick Page (like the one above) HERE !
Life Moments is now up at the shop at DSD- whew! I was working on this for some time now trying to get just the right look- sketchy is what I came up with. Art based something different- well for me anyway. SO anyway it is up! here are some previews:
Just added my Sinister Sister Kit up at the Store and I have decided to give it for free for anyone who wants to go by and get it. It will only be free for a very limited time as I am only giving away 20 kits.
Also, I have Mr. Skeleman CU4CU templates for your Halloween Kits and designs. He is currently 35% off. Happy Haunting!
You can get to these guys by clicking on the DSD tab in my blog menu. Thanx!
I was shopping at the Target the other day and I noticed these cool skeleton arm salad servers so I popped them in my cart and Halloween shopping began! I also noticed they were selling colored flavored lollipops for $1.99 each. The same kind I make for the holidays but shaped like cats and skulls so I am off to get me a few lollipop molds. I can make a bunch for a lot less-like those anyways :) so I am going to share my recipe with you, enjoy!
Good morning..........................and where is my stinkin' glue? The Digital Diva is doing ALTERED BOOKS and I mean real ones- 5 or six so I can have one for each kid. and I can't find my glue. Dang now I have to go to the store and get some more glue and that is a dangerous proposition considering all the cool stuff they have brought out for Halloween. Arrrrrgrggggggg.
So, I guess the old adage once you go digital you never go back is just a myth. Ha! So I thought I would show some of the things I am learning- first how to make pockets in a book. I watched a tutorial on the web- can't remember where- should have saved it on Pinterest right? about sewing three pages in the front and then three in the back but I don't sew, so, I ripped mine and then taped it, I taped it.
Why? I can't find my glue! So here she is......my altered book I am making.....so now I need to decide what I want to decorate my pocket with, hummm ...
Now, I have decided that I will not do anymore of this until I get some glue, somehow.
In the mean time I am about to release a new digital kit(back to my comfort zone). Hope to see you all around digi-land. Sorry about the dark photos-my phone............ you know...........
Here is a cute printable set of journal cards for you to enjoy. The lined paper was meant as a backdrop for your handwriting but they are very big so you can just glue photos or tag on top if you prefer that-
